Company Universal Pictures Canada English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet! by Jang Joon-hwan Plot Two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien (part of an invasive alien species, the "Andromedans") intent on destroying planet Earth. The title word βουγονία is a Greek word that refers to an ancient Mediterranean ritual or belief that bees spontaneously generate from the carcasses of dead animals, particularly oxen. The ritual/belief was used as poetic symbol/motif of renaissance and of life after death. This is a vibrant educational and cultural program designed in collaboration with the University of Peloponnese and supported by the Federal Government, the Local Governments, the Mitropolis of Messinia, to connect our youth with the Greek language, history, and traditions in an engaging and inspiring environment.
