Le hockey féminin en Finlande


International Hockey

Finland qualified to attend the first three IIHF Championnats mondiaux (in 1990, 1992, and 1994). To qualify to attend the Championnats mondiaux, Finland must finish in the top 5 teams at the European A Championship. Finland won the gold medal at the 1995 European A Championship which was held from March 19-26, 1995 in Riga, Latvia. Finland has placed 1st at the last four European A Championships (1989, 1991, 1993 and 1995).

Finland won the bronze medal. This means that Finland will compete at the 1997 Championnats mondiaux, which will be held in Kitchener, Canada.
