Welcome to SIMCITY 2000. You are the mayor, architect, and general boss of an unlimited number of cities. It is your job to create an environment where people want to live. You build your cities from the ground up, beginning with the roadwork, then the zoning areas, and then the budget. The challenge is to make a city that will prosper for years to come. Should you succeed the citizens will hold parades for you and the local newspapers will headline your achievements. But should you fail, there will be no remorse on their part in kicking you out of office.
