Since SimCity 2000 is an entertainment software, it would be appropriate to recommend it to my friends. Actually, this simulation game is very realistic, and easy to use. However, it requires lots of time to plan and think ahead before making each decision, and also requires the instinct to deal with problems under different conditions. These conditions may be complaints from the citizens, budgeting the money, balancing the commercial zone, industrial zone, and residential zone. Thus, I would recommend this software to people who are seventeen or older. At the same time, they can both apply their knowledge and learn to maintain a prosperous city.
I would definitely recommend this software package to my friends. Not only is it a very entertaining simulation, but it is also a very good educational tool in the sense that it teaches you what it takes to run a city. Politicians should take note and play this game before running for office. Who knows, it might just result in a better run government and they might actually get re-elected. My only gripe about this game is it does take a bit of patience. Also, this is not your typical smash-and-bash game. It requires a lot of thinking and planning ahead. Therefore, if you do not want to spend time balancing a budget and creating zoning by-laws, then SIMCITY 2000 is not for you. Aside from that, this game is suitable for anyone thirteen years of age or older. It is fun, enjoyable, and can be quite relaxing (check out my personal evaluation to know what I mean).
I recommend the game Sim City 2000 to anyone with a lot of spare time and can afford to spend several hours playing it. This game is addictive! Despite the confusion of not knowing exactly what was needed to play the game well I did enjoy it and would like to play it again.
I suggest that if you want to play this game make sure that you have an instruction manual near by so that you can use all of the tools.
This game has the potential for hours of mindless fun for those who don't want to do their homework.
