2007-05-05 Unofficial 108 marks posted
Your course mark is in "108.marks". These marks are not official until they have been approved by the Faculty of Arts and Science. The Faculty rarely requires us to change our marks, but it could happen. The formal final grades will be available from the Student Web Service when the Faculty has accepted them. -
2007-05-02 Final exam marks now posted
Please check all your marks (assignments, labs, prelabs, midterm, final) to make sure there is no error. These are raw marks and don't take into account things like "unauthorized two grace days or more", "midterm waived and weight moved to the final for medical reasons", and so on. I'll apply these and compute your unofficial course mark by Friday, so please stay tuned. In the mean time, if you see any error in your raw marks please let me know ASAP. -

2007-04-26 Your A3 marks posted.
The online mark shows just your total mark and grace day usage. The average is around 69%. The details of your A3 marks have been emailed to your CDF account. Please check all the part marks and make sure everything is correct.
IMPORTANT: Double check the "gcday" number (0 or -100) in A1, A2 and A3. You were allowed to use up to 1 grace day in total. So, if you see a -100 in JUST ONE assignment you are fine. However, if you see -100 for **TWO OR MORE ASSIGNMENTS**, contact me ASAP or any 2nd/3rd -100 will be given ZERO for that assignment. -

A typo in your A2 mark!Fixed on April 26
In the A2 mark file posted online, there is an error. Your style mark should be out of 8 (not 10) but worth 10%. I'll fix it when I post A3 marks. What this means for you is that your total A2 mark jumps up approximately 2 marks! -

2007-04-4 VERY IMPORTANT clarification for A3:
We have made a small change to the "hasWon" method of PlayWords.java to handle skipping levels (e.g. when making a long word and the points earned are > 100). Please download it again and replace the old "hasWon" method with the new one.

CDF Computer Labs
As a 108 student, you are given a CDF computer account. You'll use this account when logging into the computer during your weekly closed lab (in either BA2240 or BA2200).
If you want to want to work on your assignments on campus, you can use the following labs: BA2210, BA2220, BA2270, BA3175, and BA3200 (this is a great place to quickly check your email or work using your laptop). There is also a nice, bright lab on the 2nd floor of the Gerstein Science Centre that you can use. You can also use BA2240 and BA2200, if they are not being used for a closed lab.
Your T-card is your key to these labs (just swipe your card through the card reader next to the door). You can also use your T-card to enter the Bahen Centre when the doors are locked (evenings and weekends).
