Submission rules
- All assignments must be submitted electronically.
- Assignments that are "on-time" must be handed-in in class by the date and time that they are due.
- Assignments not handed-in within the first five minutes of lecture are considered late, and will not be accepted later in class.
- Late assignments must be emailed to your professor. 25% (absolute value) will be deducted for every day the assignment is late — to a maximum of two days.
- Assignments may not be submitted later than the last day of classes.
Writing Tips
Here are some writing tips that may help you improve the quality of your assignments.
Remarks
If you feel that a mistake was made on your assignment or exam mark:
- You must fill out a remark request form, attach it to your assignment or exam, and submit it to your instructor.
Note: the entire assignment will be remarked, so it is possible that your mark will actually go down.
- Remark requests will only be accepted up to one week from the date that the assignment or exam is handed back to the class. Requests submitted later than one week will not be considered. Requests may be turned-in in class or to the instructor's office.
- If you request a remarking and your reasoning is frivolous or not
cogent, you will receive a 0 for the question (or -20% if the question
value if the mark was already 0).
