Yaoyao Ding

Senior System Software Engineer at NVIDIA

I am a Senior System Software Engineer at NVIDIA, working on LLM inference optimization on modern GPUs across GPU kernels, computation graphs, and compiler/runtime systems. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, where I was advised by Professor Gennady Pekhimenko. Before coming to UofT, I received my bachelor’s degree in computer science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (ACM Honors Class).

My Ph.D. research focused on tensor program compilation, GPU kernel performance, and low-precision LLM inference, including the design and development of Tilus and Hidet.
