I’m a final-year PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Toronto, where I’m fortunate to be advised by Ashton Anderson at the CSSLab. I won two fellowships at and am now an affiliate of the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society.

I’ve held research roles with Microsoft, Spotify, and Samsung, and was a software engineer at Autodesk building their next-generation cloud platform before grad school.

I received my MSc from Oxford University and my BSc from McGill University.

Misc

I’m also passionate about video games, guitar-forward music, and juggling my support for Tottenham Hotspur and for my own FPL team (from which I’m on an extended sabbatical).

My name is pronounced like “Lily” with an “o”.
