During my time at UofT, I have been fortunate to do the following things outside of my Ph.D. curriculum
- I used to be a blue belt in Shotokan Karate and a part of the University of Toronto Karate Club (UTKC).
- I cofounded the Indian Graduate Students' Association (IGSA) at the University of Toronto and was the first co-president of the group from 2016-2017.
- From 2017-2018, I cofounded smartgraid, a ML based startup, and lead a team of 5 engineers to automate text-based assignment grading. Our startup was one of the 10 shortlisted teams (among 150+ teams that applied) to be invited to present their work on Demo Day.
