I am a Postdoctoral Fellow participanting in two research themes within the NSERC Business Intelligence Network: Strategy and Policy Management (Led by Prof. John Mylopoulos) and Data Quality (Led by Prof. Leopoldo Bertossi).

Past

In my Ph.D. work, I worked on a novel method for conceptual database design, by drawing ideas from the Goal-Oriented Requirements Engineering research, and its application to address Data Quality issues from a dsign perspective.

Before my Ph.D. study, I have also worked on the design and development of two research prototypes: (i) EXIP -- EXecutive Information Portal -- a toolset that supports Knowledge Management activities, such as automatic document classification, named entity extraction and annotation, and text summarization, and (ii) Hyperion: a prototype for Peer-to-Peer data sharing system
