I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at University of Toronto. I study under the co-supervision of Prof. John Mylopoulos and Prof. Alex Borgida. My committee members also include Prof. Thodoros Topaloglou and Prof. Ren¨Ĥe J. Miller. My current research focuses on proactive approaches to data quality problems.

:: Short Bio ::

I received a B.Sc. in Economics from Zhongnan Univ. of Economics and Law (China, 1999), a B.Sc. (Dean's Honour List) in Computer Science from University of British Columbia (2002), and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Following my Masters, I worked for one year in the Bell University Lab at the University of Toronto. I started my PhD in Jan. 2005. I am the recipient of UBC Undergraduate Scholar Program Scholarship (2002), Precarn Student Scholarship (2004) and Ontario Graduate Scholarship (2007).
