William M. MercerSystem Designer/Project Leader, Systems Development1996 (6 months) Worked closely with both the user community and a development team to
refine requirements and design an International Business Development system.
This system enabled Mercer to leverage their expertise across an international
forum of clients. After my departure, the design was preserved and eventually
implemented. SHL Systemhouse Inc.Systems Analyst/Consultant1989-1993 Conducted detailed systems analysis, design, and specification of a legislative court case information system which provided direct access to case information, eliminating the need for manual entry and improving productivity. Analysed the requirements and prepared an implementation plan to automate
the exchange of information between a probation department and the Superior
and Municipal Courts. The scope of the solution was constrained by budget
and time. Conceptualised and designed an analytics package enabling auditors to leverage expertise through the use of industry templates and statistics, and identify trends and areas requiring further investigation. Rewrote and enhanced an audit package to produce preliminary financial
statements including statistical analysis of financial information and
corporate consolidation, standardizing the file layouts and program subroutines
to create an optimum development and maintenance environment. |
