Material covered: the exam will be cumulative -- it will cover the entire material of the course up to and including randomized algorithms.

Term test 1 will be held October 12, 5-6. This is a common test with the daytime section. Note: Since the room we were given for the common test is so large, all students taking the test 5:10-6 PM will take the test in the Exam Center, Room 200. Note that this is a change from the previously announced locations for the evening section. Please be on time as the test ends exactly at 6PM. Students (with other course conflicts) taking the test between 6-7 PM and 7-8 PM will take the test in SF3207.
