Solutions for most questions are posted here.The second assignment is the critical reading assignment which is due March 15. This assignment can be done individually or in pairs. (I would set a somewhat higher standard for assignemnts done by a pair of students.) The articles can concern any topic related to this course (e.g., any topic in the text or lecture but not game theory which is another course). I will ask everyone to suggest a paper by Friday, March 1, or at the latest by Monday, March 4 so that I can approve that the paper is sufficiently related. I would expect that your review should be something like 2-3 pages but what is important is the throroughness of your review and not the length. In particular, your review should say how the paper relates to previous work, what is interesting or not interesting, what has or has not been explained well, and what issues deserve further research. Please feel free to ask questions about this assignment in class.
