I am strongly interested in using Computer Science to solve health and social problems. The goal of my research is to push the boundaries of Machine Learning while applying it to the detection and possible prevention of cognitive diseases involving speech.

I graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2017, where I got a chance to do seven internships all over North America. I did an exchange term at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, during which I travelled to five countries in Asia. For my final year project, my team built low-cost, portable sign-language translation gloves and were awarded the best overall project and the Infusion Cup at the ECE Design Symposium.

I am a photography enthusiast and you can see some of my work on 500px. I am also an avid reader and enjoy reading books on investment, mindfulness, productivity and magic. I play chess for fun - I represented the University of Waterloo at the Canadian Chess Championships and now am a member of the Hart House Chess Club at UofT. If you want to talk to me about anything, feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to get in touch with you!
