Soheil Abbasloo

I'm currently a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research. Prior to that, until 2023, I served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Toronto working at the Computer Systems & Networks Research Group with Prof. Yashar Ganjali. I received my PhD from NYU in 2020. At NYU I worked with Prof. H Jonathan Chao.
My research is centered around networks and distributed systems and spans different topics, including Congestion Control, Machine Learning-Assisted Network Design, Ultra-Low Latency Communications, Resource Management and Scheduling, etc.
