Welcome to the course website for the Winter 2009 term of APS101, Computer Programming!

This course teaches the basics of programming in Java, an object-oriented language.

The course is delivered through 3 lecture hours a week, plus ten 2-hour closed labs, and a weekly tutorial. During weeks that have labs you must go to to your closed lab; see the course information sheet for which weeks you have labs. The schedule of labs and the room numbers will be available on the "Labs" page by the beginning of the second week of term.

There are also 3 assignments, a midterm test (in week 5), and a final exam.

You must read the announcements at least once a week. Also, make sure to check the course bulletin board frequently.
