Current Research

Starting July 1st 2014 I will join the Department of Computing and Software at McMaster University as an Assistant Professor. Currently I am a Postdoctrol Fellow at the Univesrity of Toronto collaborating with the Parametric Human Project at the Autodesk Research and working on the data management challenges of collection, storage, and retrieval of semantically annotated large human anatomical datasets.


PhD Dissertation

I successfully defended my PhD thesis in April 2013 under the supervision of Mariano Consens and Thodoros Topalglou in the Information Engineering Center at the Univesity of Toronto.

In my PhD thesis I proposed a methodology for Personlized Privacy and developed ontologies, which can be used for Privacy Auditing.


Research Interests

My research interests include health data management, Personal Health Record systems (PHR), information privacy and accountability, ontology engineering, Semantic Web, and Linked Data.
