The solution is not quite complete, but should give you enough information to help with future assignments.
(Midterm solutions are coming.)
The midterm marks were calculated out of 38 rather than 41. This leads to a midterm average of 71%, and an average for the term so far of 76%. As mentioned in class, these marks may be adjusted further depending on the how the CSC150 class performs relative to the CSC148 class on the remaining assignments and on the final.
Please remember that any request for remarking should be made in writing.
I have also fixed the tests link to point to a page of old exams.
This decision was made last year after much discussion with the Arts Sciences Admissions Office, because it is impossible to distinguish between different ways that students may get credit for CSC108. I realize that this may not seem fair to you, but it is the only way to treat all students consistently. It is expected that a student who receives credit for CSC108 will have sufficient knowledge to pick up Java quickly enough to handle CSC148. I am confident that students in this situation will thoroughly enjoy taking CSC148 from Prof. Pitt.
The Library.java file and the Book.java files I used in class today.
