Artisan's Market
We am pleased to issue an invitation on behalf of the Royale Citie of Eoforwic to all artisans, craft persons(!), tailors, seamstresses, armourers, carpenters, carvers, leather workers and other assorted trades.
- A feature of the 2005 Lord Mayors Market Day will be an Artisans Market for SCAdians to bring their handiwork for sale at the event. All artisans are invited to show and sell their wares.
- We are hopeful of having a wide variety of SCAdian handiwork for sale. This notice is provided at this time in order that artisans have time during these cold winter months to prepare their goods for sale in sunny May.
- You may either have your own table, if you plan on bringing a large selection of wares or if you are only bringing a few articles, you may sell them through the consignment tables at a price you set. All sales at the Artisans Market are to be direct sales by the artisan to the customer.
- Artisans who wish to sell through the consignment table may be asked to volunteer a shift of one (1) hour at a consignment table.
- Other non artisan merchants are welcome and should contact me by e-mail as set out below.
- All artisans and merchants are asked to register with the Merchants Steward prior to April 29, 2005 by contacting Signora Rosalia dei Querini at rosaliadq@sympatico.ca.
