Projects

As a teaching-stream professor, I do not lead a research team of graduate students. With that being said, my interests lie in computer architecture and teaching. So, research ideas in those areas (or at the intersection of the two) interest me.

I pursue projects small and large related to course development, student advising, and tools. More recently, I have started to pursue research projects related to computer science education. You can find out more about my projects by clicking on the links below.

There are a few avenues available to undergraduate students (through the University of Toronto) to work with me. These typically include the Work Study program, the Research Opportunities Program, and capstone projects (e.g., CSC494H1). I also sometimes supervise graduate students, for example as “Prep TAs”, typically over the Summer.
