Deliverables
All deliverables are due at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on the due date specified. Lateness will only be accepted in extenuating circumstances, and only by clearing it with the instructor or TA ahead of time. See the Deliverables page for more details on what is required for the course.
In the case of project files that need to be submitted and run for grading, they should be stored in a repository (Dropbox, for instance), with a link to these files sent to the course TA account.
Assignments
The course begins with two online "game jam" assignments on the first and second Saturdays after the first lecture. Students who attend and complete these activities (and actively take part in the event) get the full assignment marks (5% each). Students who cannot attend these must complete a similar activity on their own, by submitting a game that demonstrates their basic abilities to create a small but complete game (Assignment #1), and a basic implementation of their group's proposed game mechanic (Assignment #2). See the Deliverables tab for more details on this.
Project
This course's major project is to design a 3D game demo that fits the "indie game" theme. This game must be complete, unique and exhibiting the strengths of your group members.
As with the assignments, check the Deliverables tab for more details on what the project components are.
