CSC148 Melody Contest
In CSC148 Fall 2018, we learned how musical melodies could be represented as sequences of numbers, and played with some basic melodies. We also held a contest for the best student-created melodies (either original composition or encodings of existing music). Here are some of the top submissions from the contest:
- Beethoven Moonlight Sonata (Tony Y. and Philippe Y.)
- Chopin Fantasie Impromptu (Tony Y. and Philippe Y.)
- Rimsky-Korsakov Flight of the Bumblebee (Tony Y. and Philippe Y.)
- Original composition (Stephen Z.)
