Microsoft Windows 95 is approximately a year old, yet it is owned by many global computer users. This phenomenon, which is mainly due to the extravagant advertising of the software in the computer market, has swept away many of us who are not much of a computer "techie". In comparison to the older versions of Windows--in particular, Windows 3.1--Windows 95 is more advanced, and offers users a lot more opportunity to enter into and experience the rapidly growing world of computers (and computer technology).
Windows 95 not only offers the "originals" of Windows(i.e Word, Notepad, etc.), but also offers programs for internet, electronic mail, on-line shopping networks (separate from the internet service offered), home inventory organizer, financial organizer, math card, and much more. Windows 95 has provided all the services needed, which enables the user(s) to use the computer for every aspect of their daily lives.
Windows 95, by offering all these services, creates a software which is mainly occupied with marketing "goods and services" rather than computer "goods and services". Depending on the user, this can present either an advantage to improve and organize busy lives, or an atmosphere which leaves the user with a feeling of frustation, identical to that of telemarketing services. However, Windows 95 is the first, largely marketed, software which attempts to make "life easier", and in so many ways it does.
Aside from the various services offered, Window 95 also offers many communications services, which enables the user(s), for example, to connect their fax machine(s) and send faxes electronically. This is a benefit to those who own small businesses.
In conclusion, Windows 95 is one software program which every user should have. The popularity of the software has given many computer manufacturers the oppurtunity to provide Windows 95 within the "computer package". Computer technology is a rapidly growing phenomenon, and Windows 95 is the first program to introduce its global users to what will be offered, as far as computer technology is concerned, in future.
