The "bluescreen" technique replaces a plain blue background in a photograph or video with an alternative background. It is used extensively in movies to put actors in situations that would be dangerous or even impossible in real life.

In this workshop, you'll write software to create the bluescreen effect at the same time as learning the basics of the Python programming language. If you bring in your own jpg files on a USB stick (head shots on a solid blue or green background -- see if your teacher will let you take one of them -- or background pictures of any kind), you can send your math teacher to Africa!
