I am proud to be advised by Prof. Sanja Fidler and Prof. Jimmy Ba at University of Toronto, affiliated with Vector Institute and Nvidia. Call me Ting-Wu, or my English name Wilson if you find it difficult to pronounce.

I am interested in reinforcement learning and robotics, with a focus of transfer learning, imitation learning, and model based algorithms. More specifically, I am interested in structure prior (graph neural network), traditional robotics and mocap data. I enjoy working with people and discussing ideas, so please do not hesitate to contact me, or fill out this internship application form of our group :)

About Myself ( or Ting-Wu Wang)

I am Hunanese, born in Changsha. Hunanese is different from Mandarin and Cantonese. How to speak Hunanese? Listen to these Hunanese rap songs: "Old Street", "Talk about Changsha". Big shout-out to C-BLOCK, our proud Hunanese rappers. Support C-BLOCK and Check out "The flow of Jiang-Hu", "Long River", "Champion", Li-Sao. Named by my grandfather, my name "Ting-wu" means "The exact midday", which was first used in Commentary on the Water Classic written by an ancient Chinese geographer called Li Daoyuan:
"To witness the Sun and the Moon, one shall wait until the exact midday or midnight."

Being a comic fun, my favorite artist is Osamu Tezuka.

Last Update: Aug, 20th, 2018; special thanks to Mr. Zhicong Lu, Mr. Ziyu Zhang, Mr. Bin Yang, Ms. Rachel Ye,
my supervisor Prof. Sanja Fidler and my angel Mia Ma for their help when I first arrived in this country.
Your help is so important to me, and I will always be grateful ;P
