As of January 2026, I am working at the University of Toronto
and on leave from Cornell University.
I will be recruiting PhD students at Toronto for Fall 2027, but
not at Cornell for the foreseeable future.
If you're interested in doing a PhD in computer security and cryptography,
you should definitely apply to the University of Toronto's CS PhD program.
We have one of the largest and most active
research groups
in the world, and Toronto is increasingly a center of gravity for computer
security. It's also a lovely, diverse city with amazing food.
If you are interested in working with me, you should
apply to one of the
graduate programs for the University of Toronto's
Department of Computer Science.
I have been getting a huge amount of emails (AI generated mostly!) from
prospective candidates, and as such am not likely to reply to direct
enquiries.
Good luck!
