About me

I am currently an Associate Professor (Chaire de professeur) at Paris-Saclay University.

My research is in computational linguistics and natural language processing. I am interested in developing computational models to solve interdisciplinary problems.

I received my PhD in Computer Science (Computational Linguistics) from the University of Toronto under the supervision of Prof. Graeme Hirst. My PhD thesis (successfully defended on Dec 4, 2019) focused on the computational analysis of arguments and persuasive strategies in political discourse.

I obtained my Master's degree in Computer Science from Concordia University in Montréal, under the supervision of Prof. René Witte.
