As you probably know from my bio, I have:

Well, I also have made up questions and been a judge for the University of Toronto Inter-Campus Programming Contest in January, 1997. Well, we're doing it again this September.

If all goes well, I will not be coaching the St.George team this fall.

New: There will be tryouts for the ACM contest this fall.

Programming contests are entirely artificial situations, and like most time-limited exams, prove little about a person's skills or (heaven forbid!) value as a computing professional. However, they are a barrel of fun.

Someday I might publish some links to other programming contests. A good place to start is ACM's contest site.
