                        Marking Scheme and TA Comments


1. For hand-written questions (Q1 - Q3), each part is worth 5 points. 
   For minor mistakes,  I took off 1 point. For major mistakes, which
   invalidate the whole proof, I took off 2 - 3 points. If the proof is
   almost or completely incorrect, I took off 4 - 5 points.

2. Most of the students did Q4 well. 

3. For Q5 and Q6, some students got a larger max_errors than expected, 
   but numerical method still exhibits the correct order of convergence,
   because their mistakes are limited to the boundary conditions. In this
   case, I took off 3 - 4 points.  If students got the wrong order of
   convergence, they should known that their program is wrong.  In this
   case, I took off 5 - 6 points.
