I’m someone who usually doesn’t talk much about himself. On the contrary, there are many that love to do so. These kinds of people are the ones that, during a conversation, always find a way to express how the same thing happened to them, and—even though I don’t share it—that’s okay.

The reality is that yes, most people really like talking about themselves. I realize I don’t do a great job when it comes to indulging people that way. Even though that’s not my case—I rather talk about ideas than about people, including myself—, I know I should ask people more questions, so that they can enjoy the chance of talking about themselves. This is usually a safe bet when it comes to increasing mutual interest between two people. So, I’ll strive to ask more questions looking to have better relationships, because I want to, and because I can.
