About Me

I am a first-year M.Sc. student in the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto. I am working in the group of Daniel Roy. Before Toronto, I was an undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.

Research

My interests are broadly in the fields of theoretical computer science, statistics and machine learning. Specifically, I am interested in a new and exciting area called probabilistic programming, which lies at the intersection of these fields.

Currently, we are looking at methods that estimate the quality of posterior samples generated by probabilistic programming inference algorithms and how they can be used to debug probabilistic programs.
