the elusive dog frustrated all the attempts to find him so far. Finally,
the decision had to be made whether Bobby was to undergo the painful
vaccination administrated daily for two weeks. Mrs. Hart said one of neighbors
who had seen the dog claimed it had been foaming in its mouth, barking, and
growling constantly-- all symptomatic of rabies. The policeman interjected
that there hadn't been any case of mad dog in this county in over twenty
years. he repudiated the neighbor's report, advocating that he do nothing
at least for next one day. Mr and Mrs. Hart sat down to think about 
their next step.
