Description

We have an opening for an enthusiastic software developer to join a team of researchers and clinicians working on the development of novel mobility rehabilitation device. The position is primarily technical and involves real-time character animation, pose modification, augmented reality, and basic hardware interfacing and system engineering.

You will work under the supervision of Dr. B. Taati. You will also collaborate with non-technical and clinical staff to develop an assessment protocol and will interact with stroke patients and healthy volunteers in order to conduct evaluation trials.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in computer science, electrical / biomedical / software engineering, or a related discipline and has sufficient experience in real-time computer graphics. Recent graduates are welcome to apply provided that they can demonstrate solid system integration and programming skills (C# or C++). Submitting sample code or reference to open source contribution will significantly improve your chances of being invited for an interview. Interfacing with existing research and open source libraries will be an integral part of the job. So the ability to work independently, research available libraries, and read documentation is expected.
