Packaging up Assignments
Here's how to do it:
- Print out your written work, code, test runs, etc.
When printing code at school, use the command:
enscript -2rG
This will print two logical pages per sheet, and will put a title
and page number on each sheet.
If printing at home, use something similar.
- Put your work together in the form of a report, as described in
the course guide.
Make sure everything is organized and well labelled.
- Put everything into an 8.5 by 11 inch envelope (or something nearly
that size)
- Do not seal the envelope shut in any way.
- Fill out the cover sheet cover sheet and tape
it to the front of the envelope.
Your TA may have other requirements. If so, follow them.
For example, some TAs have specifically said not to staple your work together.
(And by the way, if you do use staples, make sure they do not prevent
the TA from reading some parts of the page.)
Generally, you should think about the reader (your TA).
Make it as easy as possible for them to read and assess your work.
