Kuei (Jack) Sun
Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream
Department of Computer Science
Faculty of Arts and Science
University of Toronto
My teaching style focuses on improving fairness, equity, and instructor response time. I believe every student has the potential for success, thus I do not shy away from providing additional support, such as extra office hours, (optional) weekly exercises, and practice tests. I like to treat students as friends and not numbers in a spreadsheet. If you ever need me for anything, I will try my best to help. I evaluate student effort through assignments and aptitude through exams. If tests are on the hard side, they are working as intended. I pay close attention to student feedback, and make reasonable adjustments whenever possible, so feel free to talk to me at anytime. I hope to see you in my class!
