Biographical Information
Rather than bore you with useless biographical information, i've decided instead to bore
you with the extra-curricular activities I enjoy doing. Since you're actually reading
this page, you're obviously quite bored in the first place, so it can't possibly get
any worse. Enjoy!

Interests
Once upon a time, this section would've consisted of nothing more than a picture of a computer
since I pretty much spent all of my spare time in front of one. While I still end up staring at a
computer monitor for many hours each day, i've recently decided to try to develop a sense of balance
in my life with some other non-computer related activities. Mr. Miyagi would be proud...

Squash
Back in high school, I was very uncoordinated in racquet sports. Guess what, I still
am! But it doesn't matter, i've recently gotten involved in playing squash on a
semi-regular basis, and i'm having a blast! Even though I lose almost every game,
its still a great way to work off some of those extra pounds that tend to build
up after sagging in front of the computer all day!

Chess
I've recently discovered the game of chess! I'm completely horrible at it,
but its an amazingly deep game and its also a lot of fun. If you're just
getting into chess or are even remotely interested in learning it, take a
look at KChess by
Ark Angles, which is an awesome
Windows-based chess game for both beginners and experts alike. I still have
yet to beat the computer even on the easiest skill level, but one day...

Weight Lifting
Unlike some of the previous activities, weight lifting is something
i'm actually good at! I started working out in my early years of
high school and, aside from some occasional lapses during 3rd and 4th
year of my undergraduate studies, i've actually kept at it. Now if only
I started eating properly again...

Electronic Piano
A few months ago I decided to learn to play the piano! I used to play
the trumpet in junior high, so I could already read sheet music. How much
different could the piano really be? As it turns out, its a little bit
easier than the trumpet! I can now play a few songs, even with the proper chords!

Biking
I'm not exactly going to be competing in the Tour de France any
time soon, but I do enjoy a good bike ride. I usually prefer
the 2am bike rides since the roads are clear, the temperature
is cool, and there's less car-driving lunatics
on the roads... but there's definitely lots of cops, so make sure
you have your light... :)
