END OF WARNING
In order to mount your HOME directory from a Win98 box:
1. You must have Microsoft Client installed
2. You must log in to your box using your current
UNIX username. (The password is irrelevant).
You will be prompted for a username by the
Microsoft Client.
3. If your version of Windows 98 is running on VMWARE,
Windows must be a member of the CSLAB workgroup.
(See instructions below: Changing Workgroup Name)
4. In order to map a home directory, right click on Network
Neighbourhood icon, click on Map Network drive,
select unused drive letter (i.e. H),
supply path to home directory, (e.g. \\smb\username)
click ok, and supply your current UNIX password.
If your password is longer than 8 characters, only
supply the first 8 characters.
If your password has not been changed within the last
year, please reset it in order to synchronize it with
our SAMBA password file.
5. Once you are able to map your home directory, you will
be able to use our Network printers.
To set up a printer:
Click Start -> Settings -> Printers-> Add New Printer.
Click Next and select Network Printer.
Click Next again (without adding the name of printer in the
"Type the printer name, or click Next to browse for a printer" box).
Double click CSLAB and browse to the SMB server. Then double-click SMB and browse to
the name of the printer.
You will then be prompted to install the printer driver.
Ignore the "Null printer driver" warning message.
Proceed as instructed and install the correct printer driver.

In order to change a Windows 98 workgroup, right click on the Desktop's Network
