Erindale electronic submission

The following pages describe the process for submitting an assignment electronically. The primary focus is submission of program files in either of the CSC 108 or CSC 148 courses.

BEFORE YOU START THIS PROCESS MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ACTIVATED YOUR ERINDALE ACCOUNTS. ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW YOUR TUZO ACCOUNT PASSWORD.

The process of submitting files electronically described below uses the file transfer program available on the PC network. To submit a file you will transfer your file from your disk to a directory on the Tuzo computer. (This is the same computer that you use for email at Erindale.)

The File Transfer program is found in the Internet Applications menu. To start, mouse click on the Start button in the lower left corner of the screen. Move the mouse up to the Internet Applications menu. A sub-menu will appear on the right with the File Transfer icon near the bottom of the menu.

Clicking on the File Transfer icon causes a dialog box to appear. Then mouse click OK.

A display with two windows will appear. The file system for the PC you are currently logged into is displayed in the upper window and the file system for your Tuzo computer account is displayed in the lower window. It will look something like the display below:

Make the appropriate changes.

If you make changes to your program, you can resubmit your program using the same process specified above.
