about me

I was born in 1977 and grew up in Tehran. I earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and attended graduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
My PhD was supervised by Edgar A. Ramos and co-advised by Sariel Har-Peled. Between  January 2007 and August 2008, I have been a post-doc for Pankaj K. Agarwal in Duke University. Since September 2008, I have been a postdoc in the computer science theory group at the University of Toronto.


My spouse, Azadeh Farzan, is also a computer scientist. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of Toronto.
