Ryan Prescott Adams
About Me
I am a CIFAR Junior Research Fellow at the University of Toronto. I study machine learning, Bayesian inference, artificial intelligence and machine vision.
Being a Junior Fellow is more or less like being a postdoc, and I split my time between the Department of Engineering (where I interact with Brendan Frey's Group) and the Department of Computer Science (where I interact with Geoffrey Hinton's Group , Richard Zemel and others). I did my PhD at Cambridge University with David MacKay, where I was a member of St. John's College and a Gates Cambridge Scholar. You can view my CV here.
