Assignment Submission Instructions

Assignment Submission

There are two types of assignment submission: paper submission and electronic submission. For each assignment, read the handout carefully to find out what type(s) of submission are required.

Paper Submission

All assignments handed in on paper must be submitted in a 9"x12" envelope, unsealed, with the completed cover sheet for assignments attached to the front. (We require the use of an envelope to ensure that pages don't get separated from the rest of your assignment.) The cover sheet is available here, in PostScript format or in Adobe PDF.

Paper submissions must be handed in to the CSC148H drop box (on the second floor of the Sandford Fleming building, behind the elevators -- near room 2305A). This includes assignments submitted late for the usual penalties (or early for the usual bonuses), but not submissions for which special consideration is requested: these must be handed in directly to your instructor, or to the secretary in the main office (SF-3302) to be left in your instructor's mailbox. (Before submitting an assignment for special consideration, please read the Policy on Special Consideration carefully!)

Electronic Submission

Here are instructions for submitting electronically, from the CDF-PC lab or from home.

Here is a detailed set of rules that you must follow for all electronic submissions, unless otherwise stated on the assignment handout: rules for submission.
