You need two things. The first is the WPA2 key, which is accessible on a password-protected web page. I also printed it on the welcome sheet I've been distributing.
After using that WPA2 key to connect, please go to https://wifi-reg.cs.toronto.edu in your web browser to register your laptop for external network access.
Then you'll be on the network for most purposes.
But to access
department-internal resources you need an additional
authentication step.

Most likely the only reason you will need this is for file-sharing.
