The Canton of Eoforwic is proud to present Lord Mayor's Market Day 2004 in honour of His Worship Lord Hans Thorvaldsson. Join us June 12 from 11am-night. This is a beautful indoor/outdoor site: plan to spend time outside enjoying the greenspace and water, and while away the warm evening feasting.
When, where, and how much?
- Date: 12 June 2004
- Time: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
- Location: Meadowvale Community Centre, 6655 Glen Erin Drive, Mississauga
- Site cost: 16 and older $8 + NMS (where applicable), 5-15 $4, 4 and under free.
Activities
There are activities for every size and shape:
- Arts and Sciences: enter the "It seemed like a great idea at the time" competition! Bring your pathetic projects, your fantastic failures, your amusing misshapen mistakes! Prizes will be awarded for the worst entries and least recognizeable pieces of work.
- Fencers: enter the Fencing Mask Tournament, get hired, and earn your sponsor a prize!
- Heavy fighters: enter the Naval Tourney and swamp your opponents!
- Street performers: This includes bards, jugglers, and magicians, to name a few! Enter the "Feast for Free" Busking Competition and entertain the crowds!
- Children: lots of activities!
- Dancers: um ... dancing!
- Shoppers: um ... shopping. (It is Market Day, after all.)
