"Feast for Free" Busking Competition
What is "busking"? Street performance. Magic, juggling, singing, miming, dancing, and more: anything you can think of that will entertain a crowd in the market.
How do I win? All you need to do is busk and collect ballots. Sign up at troll and get an official Busking Hat, find a good spot, put your Busking Hat down (upside-down will work best), and perform for as long as you like. Move around if you want. If you are good enough, passers-by will drop ballots into your hat.
What do you mean by "Feast for Free"? 6 seats near the head table have been reserved for the winning buskers. If you are a winner, you and a companion of your choice will be seated for free at feast. (Any of the dignitaries in attendance may request a performance.)
But isn't feast already free? Well, yes. Erm. You'll get to keep the Busking Hat, too.
Where do the ballots come from? Everyone attending will receive a booklet of ballots upon payment, in lawful tender, of the site fee. A second and each succeeding booklet cost $2, available from troll. Proceeds go to the Lord Mayor's Fund of the Royale Citie of Eoforwic.
When will the ballots be counted? Just before court at around 4pm. Bring your Busking Hat and ballots to troll. (You get to keep the hat regardless of whether you win.) Don't be late! Ties will be decided by coin toss.
