CSC309 Assignment #4 Submit Info
- You will submit a set of source files and include a Makefile
using the command
submit -N a4 csc309h <files>
- Do not submit any directories: only a flat set of files.
- The default (first) target of the Makefile should build an
'ass4.war' file.
- Your Makefile will create the appropriate web app directory structure.
- It will copy the necessary submitted files into the apporpriate places
in that directory structure (and no more).
- It will build .class files from .java files and move them into the
appropriate places in that directory structure.
- It will then create the .war file from that directory structure.
- Also supply a 'clean' makefile target that will remove all generated files and directories.
- The TAs will then run
make
to build 'ass4.war'
- The TAs will copy 'ass4.war' into their Tomcat 'webapps'
directory.
- The TAs will then use Netscape 4.76, opening the URL
http://localhost:<port>/ass4
- The TAs will attempt to login with username/password combinations of
userId | password | role
|

a1 | pa1 | admin

a2 | pa2 | admin

- Ensure that you thoroughly test the submission process.
If it does not work the first time,
the TAs must give you a mark of 0 for the run-time
component of the assignment grading.
- Ensure also that your database is transparently created and initialized
without the TAs having to do anything beyond the steps listed above.
