Instructions for Volunteer Organizers

On behalf of all DCS grads, thank you very much for volunteering to organize Cookies and Tea.

Here are the "rules" for buying fresh goods:

1) You can buy up to $30 in cookies and tea or other goodies and the CSGSBS will reimburse you. Give your receipt to CSGSBS treasurer, Jonathan Lung <lungj at cs> to get reimbursed.

2) When choosing what to buy, please select from your favorites (or things you are willing to eat) and mainstream items such as premium brand (e.g. Chips Ahoy) chocolate-chip cookies and donuts and don't forget to buy some tea of your favorite flavor.

3) Please deliver the cookies to your favorite lounge (SF or BA grad lounge) around 4:30pm, and send out a reminder to the grad-announcements@cs mailing list. Also, don't forget the left-over goods, which are usually stored in red baskets either in SF3206 or in the DB lab (BA5160). Usually I take care of this part, but if I'm not there for some reason, you can just ask someone at the grad office to open SF3206 for you or you can knock BA5160 and ask anyone who opens the door to let you in. In that case please remember to put the left-over goods back in where it was before. There is typically someone in the grad office until at least 5:00pm, though the door is usually closed after 4:30pm and you have to knock in order to get in.

It's that easy!

Best regards,

Oktie
