Comments:
Q1. Most did well. But some forgot pivoting. Remeber to use LU to
calculate x instead of calculating inverse of matrix.
Q2. Only few students got all right. Many forgot the n flops from
computing (b2 - b1).
Q3. Most did well.
Q4. You should have right reasonning to tell the significant digits.
Q5. A lot of minor errors occurred in computing those values. But most
came up with the right arguments.
Q6. Most students had a correct algorithm but less efficient. Some didn't
test the programs for matrix A which is specified by the question.
Q7. Not too bad. But a lot of students didn't provide derivation of
the Jacobian matrix.
