How to reach out if you're interested in a PhD or MSc with me
High Level Notes
- I do not respond to inquiries.
- I do not take direct entry PhD students unless they're exceptional (and/or published in the venues I publish at) or come highly recommended from someone I know or trust or respect.
- I am usually taking students. All students I take are fully funded. Please don't email to ask if I'm taking students.
- I cannot tell you if I will admit you as you are being compared against all applicants in the current year's pool. Unless you're truly exceptional and want to flag your application to me (and have published in the same venues I've published) please don't email. Even if you do email, it will only serve as a flag.
- If you do want to work with me, apply through the UofA CS department and select me as a possible supervisor. I only take students from this pool.
