The Editors write: "Of the more than 150,000 Web sites that we've checked out, our editors believe that your site should be publicly recognized as a Luckman Four-Star winner.(...) In addition to your Four-Star award, a review of your site will be featured in the new edition of our book and interactive CD-ROM-- Luckman Interactive's "World Wide Web Yellow Pages" (all of the winners will be included in the new versions, due in the Spring.)". The Editors of Luckman Interactive, February 12, 1997.
LookSmart presented The Editor's Choice Award to RusPhoto. They write: "This award conveys the highest standard for providing a useful and high quality website. We have viewed literally over a million websites to select the 110,000+ chosen to meet our standards. (...) Congratulations on your achievement. You are welcome to display the Editor's Choice symbol of excellence. As a subsidiary of The Reader's Digest, editorial standards have been a hallmark of our company for over 75 years.". The message from David Gold (Manager) was received on Monday, 27th January, 1997.

RusPhoto's site has been awarded by Russian America Award for the best presentation of Russian news for Americans. The award was given by the Web Ideas Team (Russian America Web Site).

"Impressions of Russia and the Former USSR" page is choosen as a " Selected Page of N.Zh.M.D." - the First Russian award to a WWW site about Russia or related things. This award was received on August 9, 1996 from Art. Lebedev (tema@pobox.com), the creater of N.Zh.M.D.

"All Regions of Russia by Pictures" are nominated as Russia Top 10% Web Picks by Alive!

"3 stars" to Russia Phototrack main page and "3 stars" to page with information about Russia by Magellan Internet Guide published by the McKinley Group, Inc.
