INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOPS ON

DATABASE PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES (DBPL)

The DBPL workshops focus on the interaction of theory and practice in the design and development of database programming languages.

The last DBPL workshop (DBPL-7) was held in Kinloch Rannoch, Scotland and continued in the tradition of excellence initiated by its predecessors in Roscoff, Finistère (September 1987), Salishan, Oregon (June 1989), Nafplion, Argolida (August 1991), Manhattan, New York (August 1993), Gubbio, Umbria (August 1995), and Estes Park, Colorado (August 1997). The Proceedings of DBPL-7 will be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series.

The next DBPL will be held in Marino, Rome, Italy, in September 2001, immediately before the VLDB 2001 conference in Rome.
